Halloween preparations .......

A day of this and that. Once everything was fed, had to go next door to help wee brother get a cow in to calve. A big bull calf, needed a bit of a pull, but alive.
Took the combine over and put it in the shed for the winter. Had to bring a newly calved cow in here as the calf hadn't sucked . Only 2 teats working and about enough milk to make a cup of tea in them so had to feed the calf with powder milk.. Hopefully the milk will come on her.
Littlemiss and Mrs getting in the Halloween mood today, lots of cobwebs and spiders ( more than usual) and blood stained candles around tonight ! Will need to go and get a turnip for a lantern , none of this pumpkin nonsense !
