Purple mountain in the pink

This is Pikes Peak, the mountain that inspired our song "America the Beautiful," which speaks of the beauty of "purple mountain majesties." I believe Katharine Lee Bates penned those words after seeing the mountain at sunset.
Well, this morning we were up early and caught the sunrise glow on the majestic mountain. More pink than purple, I think.
