JOURNEY TO LANGENTHAL

That destination had not been my choice at first. While Piet Hein was napping I had found a description of an interesting eco-path near Lamerden, where we had never been. It lies east of Hofgeismar.
The weather looked more hopeful in the morning, and the sun even laughed at me for a while.
However, when we left Helmarshausen, there was a sign that indicated that there was a diversion and so Piet Hein took the road to Langenthal and when we arrived there it was obvious that the so-called diversion
was between Langenthal and Deissel, and that made it impossible to go to Lamerden today.
No problem, there are very nice paths around Langenthal and we choose a path through a nice forest, descending the hill.
We came in a valley, a perfect valley as Piet Hein says, if there had not been the electricity pylons that dominated the view.
There was cattle, there were sheep too, and the coloured trees made it fairy tale land like. We heard the geese in the air, and saw their large V formation,
Then we followed a little brook, again walking in the woods, and in the end a climb up the hill to reach Langenthal again.
In a meadow, I think it was an orchard too, we met a large family of cows, and one calf came to mum for milk.
