Neto has offered to take us straight to Trapiá today, which will save us a 4hr bus ride, followed by who knows what, to get to where we lived for 24 years (hoping to be able to borrow/rent a car, eventually)... Probably unable to blip there, so taking advantage to do it now, before we leave.

Lúcia, their maid, has made us tapiocas for breakfast - a white pancake thing, soaked in butter, plus melon and watermelon and eggs and fresh cajá juice and cheese and ham and... couldn't help wishing our kids were here - they'd so love it.
