Day 236- Eden
Leaving lakes entrance this morning, quick stop for some munch. Few little by passes, including Alfreds national park and Orbost. Then a had a lunch stop at gipsy point, definately recommend! Beautiful little spot and 3 days a week a local man takes you out for free onto the lake on his boat. Just as we were leaving I looked to the right as saw 2..6 foot kangaroos staring me out. I flew out the car and discovered a family and more of kangaroos, the dad of the family was bloody massive! It was amazing! Not even 20m away from this beautiful creature. Leaving the kangaroos we headed for Eden. Again highly recommend! A magical little town revolved around Whales. A museam dedicated to killer whales and this coming weekend they have a festival for whales. Sitting on a Cliffside me and mum sat scanning out to sea. And not even a few miles away there they were! A huge pod of humpback whale blowing and jumping around the water. Just amazing!
