Fangs, Football and Fog

well teeth instead of fangs, I'm not a vampire but it went with the title

Today:
I was a the orthodontist, in for quite a while, resulting in a sore mouth but hey ho there you go. Four years in braces and counting.
Then it was home for lunch and back out again to Asda to do the weekly food shop.

Menu for this week:
sausages, mash and beans
hot cumin lamb wraps with slaw
fish stew and garlic croutons
cottage pie and peas
chicken korma and rice
baked tattie, salad and cold meat
macaroni cheese

Home again and my daughter went for a swim and me and my son played cards, frustration, jenga and dominoes.

A friend came to pick my son up so her husnad could take him to the football...Aberdeen v. Manchester United. My son has never been to a football match before because, well, we're just not into football in my family.

My daughter attempted to make macaroni cheese for herself and her dad. Went wrong, lots of annoyed words and tears but she wouldn't let me help. I stayed calm and didn't shout lol. When husband came home he helped her sort it and I went out for tea with my friend (only her husband and kids were going to football)

Traffic was busy but not too bad and we went to TGI Fridays for tea. Had chicken, mash and veg. We've not seen it each other since April so it was nice to catch up :)

Long drive home, about 45 mins, in the fog and I snapped this picture whilst waiting in a line of nose to tail traffic. The photo has been cropped and I like this bright shining beacon through the fog.
