at work...

have you ever stopped and watched a spider spin a web? I have a few times. Once with Glenn several years ago. We were laying in bed reading. I look up to see a teensy weeny spider hanging from our fan. As I watched, it proceeded to swing itself and attach to other parts of the fan. Then it starts the outline of the web. I said something to Glenn and we ended up laying there watching this little thing work seemingly hard to build that web. It was fascinating. We were mesmerized. Probably watched for a half hour....This morning, this guy was outside our kitchen window already working on the web. I drank coffee and watched for a minute. So rhythmic in its motion. Makes me sad when I break a web to know just what went into it's construction. Such is another awe of nature

It was a good day. EXCEPT several people at work are sick with head colds. ugh ugh ugh...I DO NOT want to get sick! When I was up last night off and on with a sinus headache, I wondered who I could blame :) I will fight it with all the C and Zinc and D and E and echinacea and whatever else will help keep it at bay. My drink today consisted of airborne with a packet of vitamin c. Just took some ibuprofen pm and am off to hopefully sleep!! zzzzzzzz
