Surprise drop in

I saw this hawk sitting high in a tree while I was on my lunch walk. After a few minutes, he flew off to catch his lunch across the street. I walked over to where I thought he had landed, but didn't see him - then I turned around and there he was - just a few feet away on a pole. He finally flew off when I moved to stop a couple of oblivious squirrels from getting too close.
