Pistachio tuiles

A fine Autumn day, I took pepper for her walk, then spent some time making a dessert for this evening's curry fest.
I decided on a recipe from Hairy Bikers Great Curries, Lemon Posset with Passion fruit jelly and Pistachio tuiles biscuit.
The recipe seems straightforward and all popped in the fridge to chill.
The biscuits are a little more challenging. I hadn't tried it before so was surprised to arrive at more of a batter than a dough. My aga was not up to temperature but I put them in anyway. They looked ok but on trying them, rather tough. Checked with Google and this is a fault when oven is too cool! Since they were for my friends, I had a second bash at it and waited for the oven to get to 180. Much better! Mary Berry would have known that, and now I do too.
A great evening with Sheila, Sandra and Jenny and a fine curry thank you!
