Row your boat

These are the boat sheds owned by Winchester College.  They sit on the edge of the Itchen Navigation Canal where the boys practise the skills they'll need to get into Oxford or Cambridge.  Today I thought the reflections rather fun though I've no idea why the white line across each door comes out pink in the water.

Not a lot else to report: I saw a jay flying low across the bank and a brimstone butterfly, which was cheery.  On the flip side, I am a mum and do sometimes worry about things that shouldn't concern me.  Hey ho!
