Reflections

Today I went on a trip into the Trodos mountains. It was cool and calm. We drove through hillsides covered with vineyards, pine forests and tiny ramshackle villages perched on the slopes. We visited this pretty bridge, the Kykkos monastery and the rock where legend has it that Aphrodite was born. Good to see some of the beauty of the island.
