EEK!

This turned out to be a long post so I broke it into chapters.

Chapter 1: the photo
Ok, so I found a portrait that I liked and thought I'd try to imitate it, however that failed, as does many of my attempts to imitate others do.

While I was playing around I got the idea for this SP, I wanted something that could show off a bit of my engagement ring, and I like the idea of this pose. It took a bit of post editing, because my lighting set up of 2 lamps (the over head light in the room is blown) to get the shadows worked out. You can find a Before & After shot here because I'm pretty happy with the result. I'm sure there is more I could do, but I'm hungry haha.

Chapter 2: Our Day
Anyways, (i'm hoping this is blip appropriate) The Mister and I had a pretty busy afternoon. He was suppose to be off the last 2 days, but got called in, as a co-worker has strep throat. But we dropped some things off to our lawyer (have I told you that story?), he passed out some resumes, and then we had lunch together before we went grocery shopping, and he went to work.

Chapter 3: Lawyer Story
The Lawyer story in short.
Bad landlords in NL won't give us our damage deposit back, or actually get in contact with us at all even though I e-mail them weekly. I started a claim through the Landlord association, but got confused. Asked a Lawyer who is a regular at work if I could ask him a few questions about it... now he's helping us. It's been a mess we had trouble serving them the hearing notice because the office that have listed with the Landlord Association is vacant... now we are trying to get it pushed back because they failed to provide a valid address. It's just a mess, and this is something you are not suppose to need a lawyer for, go figure.

Ok, ramble done!
