The last supper ...

Ok ok that is a bit melodramatic - hands up. But went for a last pub meal with my favourite Scottish person in her function as my work colleague before she now moves approximately 20 thousand miles away (ok ok slipping again) back to Scotland. We'll obviously stay in touch, but won't be easy to just spontaneously go out for dinner, to go to Zumba class on Sunday mornings, have a girls movie night, find lovely cafes in the Norfolk countryside, hop on a boat in the broads, brainstorm a difficult case at work, share the inevitable frustrating moments of veterinary science ... och (my favorite Scottish noise) you get the idea. I'll miss you bonnie lass <3

Ok ok das war etwas melodramatisch geb ich zu. Aber war heute tatsächlich zum letzten mal mit meiner Lieblingsschottin im Pub (zumindest in ihrer Funktion als Kollegin) bevor sie zirka 20 tausend Meilen (ok ok rutsche wieder ab) zurück nach Schottland zieht. Wir bleiben natürlich in Verbindung, aber es wird nicht so einfach sein mal spontan abends essen zu gehen, Sonntag morgens zur Zumba Klasse, nen Mädels Filmabend zu haben, nette Cafes im Norfolker Lande zu entdecken, in ein Boot auf den Norfolk Broads zu hüpfen, nen schwierigen Fall in der Arbeit gemeinsam zu knacken, die unvermeidbaren Frustmomente der Tiermedizin zu teilen, och (mein Lieblings Schottengeräusch) ihr versteht schon was ich meine. Ich werd Dich vermissen Schottenrock <3
