MonoMonday: The Postman Always Rings Twice

"I like cats, they're always up to something," said the motorcycle cop in "The Postman Always Rings Twice" as he watched Curiosity play in the yard.  Unfortunately, she was an expendable character in the movie and soon came to a sad end.  The lovers' first attempt to do away with Nick was staging an accidental drowning in the bathtub.  But when the power failed, their plan was foiled and poor Curiosity was electrocuted.  Investigating the scene, the same cop said, "I never saw a prettier cat.  It killed her deader'n' a doornail."  (I really hope this beautiful cat I met in the park had a better day!  I couldn't resist adding the extra that really shows off her green eyes.)  Thanks to Dollykgray for hosting the challenge this month!
