Eastern Water Dragon

The male in the centre adopted this raised running pose when another male challenged his dominance.  I've never seen them do that before.   Males have red bellies, esp. around mating season.  They're interesting characters - can stay underwater for up to half an hour.   I saw a female once covering her eggs with a shallow layer of sandy soil. The eggs are white and have a soft 'shell'.  Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me.
