A Viking invasion
So hard to pick a photo to blip today as I had a few I was tempted by. A wonderful sunrise over a mist covered Fortrose.A wonderful sunny and warm morning spent in the garden.
Avoch was still covered in haar at lunchtime so I thought there would be a good view from Ormond Hill. So after picking up some lunch from Harry Gows we went up to carpark. A diversion was in place as they are felling some of the trees so we walked among little trees and over a carpet of leaves. Beautiful views across the fields over cobweb covered gorse. Droplets of dew shone on all kinds of seed heads and one cobweb looked like it was covered in diamonds. We could hear the machines
ahead and the path was getting muddy where the large lorries had been moving the logs so we turned back and drove down to the shore in Avoch. We walked down to some old boat moorings and sat and had our lunch. So calm and we watched the birds and a seal swim past. The boat in the photo always makes me smile :)
Home and I made a casserole with dumplings for dinner. Another lovely sunset too.
