East Farleigh

The parish of East Farleigh dates back to 961 and the area was called Ferlaga in the Domesday Book. The original Saxon church was rebuilt by the Normans in 1120. It sits above the river and the medieval bridge. For more detailed history check out the Farleighs' History Society site.
