Un-BEEP

My Dear Fellow,

The BEEP has gone, we have been freed. We never did find out what it was, it just stopped. Something battery-powered in which the battery has given up the ghost.

I think this is a good thing. Or possibly we are about to die from radon and/or carbon monoxide poisoning. Either way, at least we will die having had undisturbed sleep.

Speaking of giving up the ghost, I continue my "Spooky Movie Marathon" today with "The Conjuring 2". I am currently 20 minutes in, and the scariest thing about it is the stereotypical British working class family from the 1970's. It is like watching an episode of "EastEnders" crossed with "The Dick Emery Show". 

But it is early days. I fully expect this film to scare the living poop out of me shortly. Assuming position behind couch.
