In Quest of Beauty

I was on duty today in Kelvingrove with a party of 15 for a tour of the highlights of the gallery. I wasn't expecting quite so many and as the gallery was very busy had to raise my voice a lot to be heard. So I'm hoarse now!
Before the tour I had popped in to visit the new Alphonse Mucha exhibition which is really excellent. It's interesting to compare his graphic work to Mackintosh's which is a more restrained and austere version of art nouveau.
