Blue Tit

I just had time for a quick walk in Pollok Park before meeting some ex colleagues for lunch.  I lingered rather too long watching the birds darting to the bird feeders .... they certainly don't linger for a photo shoot.  I was lucky to capture this wee blue tit by just keeping my finger on the button.

When I arrived home in the middle of the afternoon I had NO power and the alarm was beeping away.  The house was rather chilly but fortunately I have a gas cooker so could boil water for a cuppa.  I eventually found a number to phone and just as I was listening to the recorded message about the power failure the alarm stopped beeping and all was well.
