Kid's did parkrun this morning. The gap between them was enormous but am still awaiting the results to see if C had a flyer or W a disaster, or both. Left them at Wimpole in care of N&P. Went home to collect Jim and headed for Cambridge.

Hotel room was ready so had a breather, had a mooch around the Backs. Coffee stop for Jim to rest and a little later I had a pint while Jim rested.

Chilled in our room before heading to Browns for dinner. The most delicious cocktail was discovered, British Royale, had one as an aperitif and one instead of pudding.

Lovely, long planned grown up day. Looking forward to a paced day tomorrow before collecting the kids.
