Blood, sweat and tears

Is what I have spent on getting a bee on the white rhododendron to show up clearly.
The bees get down in the flower and look too dark.Editing either makes the colours look funny or burns out the white.
I have been trying all week and with rain due and the flowers going off I was getting desperate. So I stuck at it until I got this one which shows detail but the white not too white.
I felt like one of the bees that had a rest for 10 minutes inside a flower. I thought he had over exerted himself and was breathing his last but he came to, scrubbed all the pollen off and flew away.
Which is what I did this afternoon, going to visit a 4 year old who kept us amused with his hut making and dancing.
