Getting Lost

I tend to write journeys on my hand. Often I forget I've done it and accidentally wash it off halfway along only to have to revisit the map all over again. When I am sensible and use a marker pen of sorts I then end up with directions for a few days. People give me odd looks. I have to explain it's not somekind of cryptic tattoo.
