Band rotunda and spring blossom.....

Kaiapoi band rotunda was built in 1908 and was moved to it's third and current location in 2003. It is now located in Tousselot Park by the Kaiapoi Riverbank, large enough to hold major events throughout the year in lovely surrounds with large trees and Scott Rose Garden close by.

The tree beside the rotunda laden with spring blossom always catches me by surprise being an early bloomer.

A light frost this morning followed by a sunny day with a cool breeze.
