Dereliction

lurking behind the classic Lakeland view.
This is the quarry at Elterwater which is still a working quarry but has some nice pockets of dereliction. I love it at this time of year. The silver birch and the autumn colours look magnificent against the slate. I went up Lingmoor but there was a very cold wind on the top.
