Dusk

Pretty light. It was foggy, crisp and decidedly Autumnal this morning, and then the sun poked through to make it a lovely day. 

I've ground to a halt in lots of ways, and feeling a bit blue. On a lighter note, I used this dating app, Hinge, which rebranded itself a week or so ago, claiming to be different from all the others out there, i.e.; not making people seem so disposable. Yeah right. I've done a bit of browsing and received a few messages on there, but to be quite honest, the people on there seem a bit 'unhinged' themselves.....

I don't think I shall ever meet anyone. Not without a serious shake up of my life. And that makes me sad. I'm (still) filled with regret about the past, and truly appreciate the phrase "you don't know what you've got till it's gone". It's very true. If only I had come to that realisation before....
