Aberdeen

This is the Aberdeen coat of arms just past the entrance to the Winter Gardens in Duthie Park.

The weather was very mist, with the haar just above ground level. In view of the weather I decided in favour of an indoor shot today. At any rate that was my excuse. Another reason might have been it gave me the opportunity to head to the Espresso Bar in John Lewis for a cream cake.

I should be able to narrate the meaning of the symbols on the coat of arms, but unfortunately it is beyond me at this hour.
