Il pleut

Nice has been a washout today. But we discovered the old town is about 1000 times more charming than the newer areas of the city, even as the weather switched between deluges and mizzling rain.

This was a view over the posh port bit from one of the panoramas, and we had to rush to take shelter after this when the heavens opened.

We've filled time with retail therapy, cozy bars, cheesy pizza, ice cream, chocolat chaud, olives, cheese and toffee. So we've made the gluttonous best of a rainy situation.
