What a day.

In order to ensure we weren't stuck on the motorway at lunch time we left for Heathrow earlier than needed.

Still took long enough and had lunch around 2.

Flight was late and a turbulent flight at that.

Got into Newark around 10 local time and it was after midnight by the time we got to the hotel ( or 5am UK time ).

The boys napped on the plane so the soft play at Heathrow sort of did the trick.

Unfortunately we didn't get any sleep.

Probably have to wait for any NY photos for when we get home
