" THOSE WERE THE DAYS MY FRIEND "

This is Charlestown on the south Cornwall coast, not far from St Austell and where a lot of Poldark was filmed.  In the smaller photo you can see the old ship.

We enjoyed a lovely trip out in the Mini and a superb lunch at one of the many eating places.  The car park was very civilised too, much cheaper than Newquay!

We are enjoying the benign weather and even still wore shorts down to the beach and a paddle although I was the only one brave enough.

Matthew arrives Thursday so I will be getting ready for his visit.
