The Litte Misses

We had a proper Summer's day out today at the strawberry farm.
As well as all the fruit fields and the farm shop there was a playground, a bouncy castle, a sandpit, a huge inflatable slide and a lovely cafe serving proper mugs of tea. With proper milk. Paradise for seven little ones and their Mummies!
The Little Misses loved searching for the biggest, reddest, juciest strawberries. One in the punnet, two in the mouth!!!
And they loved raspberry hunting too - seeing who could reach the highest one. I had no idea raspberries grew on such massive trees bushes!!!!
It was Mr L's first birthday today so we had the added bonus of chocolate brownies and rice crispie cakes, yummy!
Then it was home for some ice cream making - strawberries, raspberries, honey and Greek yoghurt blended and stuck in the freezer - and an afternoon in the garden with Papa and the paddling pool.
It was a pretty good day!
