Wedding Rose

No, this is not one of Miss Haversham's roses but is in fact belonging to Mrs. Joesblips. This bunch of dried out flowers has been in reserve as an emergency blip for a long time now and in fact I have photographed it at least 5 times in the past only for something else to come along during the day. Not so today though.

On Saturday one of my aunts passed away so this evening I went to the chapel where the remains arrived to lie overnight until the funeral tomorrow. My Finnish friends will probably be surprised at a funeral taking place within 3 or 4 days of the death but that's the way we do things here. Between one thing and another it has been a hectic day and tomorrow looks like being busy too with so many old friends to meet and greet. You will understand if commenting time is pretty short at present.
