Fly

I think this is some sort of a horse fly, with the striped eyes and rather large "beak". If anyone can identify it I would be most pleased, Google doesn't seem to have the exact same fly. It is quite small and sitting on a cosmos petal.

For the first time I have been shooting in RAW and editing in Photo Director 5. The results are most encouraging. Does anyone else shoot in RAW?
