Crossing the Bridge

Day 1 in Brisbane, Saturday. We arrived here this morning, checked into our apartment, got freshened up from the 33 hour ordeal, took a nap and went for a walk. Crossing the Brisbane River is a delight. There are a series of wonderful bridges that even light up beautifully at night. We enjoyed tapas and Australian beer along the left bank, walked through the market and ended up listening to a jazz group play on one of the avenues.
