Spring Greens

I t was hard to pick a photo today.  I went with this view of farmland and the differing shades of green.  I was impressed by the number of trees planted and their pretty new growth.  At the top of the view is our native bush which is often grey -green in colour.  The forester spent time in the morning felling some trees and in the late afternoon we went for a country calendar type tour of the farm to move some deer, check on the mama cattle and their calves and happened to see pheasants and peacocks.  All the paddocks have names and this view is of the Hay paddock. so named because they cut hay on it.  Looking up the hill is The Bean paddock named for Mabellene a past dog who was called the bean as a nick name.  One of the tasks was opening gates to the next paddock they wanted the deer to move into.  Through the gate they lay a trail of maize and the deer come to that and eat and walk through.  The forester said he would walk through a gate for blue cheese.
