A long day travelling probably seems longer because I am feeling a little under the weather.  It did take us around eight and a half hours to cover a distance I managed in under six hours a few weeks ago.  Four stops, two wheelchairs to unload and reload each time and now we have arrived, while Ruth is happily settled in the Talyllyn Hostel, Amy is deeply unhappy about the hired caravan and wants to go home ....... you really couldn't make it up!

Almost exactly a year ago I blipped from the same supermarket car park close the Welsh Border but the journey was going much better.
