Morning of DIY at the farm followed by a late afternoon walk with the pups at Llanrhaeadr falls. Beautiful autumnal colours up there. Mum and Dad came with us and we met Andrea and Luca up there (Craig and the girls had gone to the cinema). Had the best fish and chips in Llanrhaeadr.

The bedroom is done now. Looks really nice. Made such a difference. Mike also finished insulating the cellar ceiling to stop the drafts in the room above and we think we have worked out the cause of the damp patch in Dad's room (leaky gutters). Just the loft insulation to sort in the kids room in the morning - for this trip at least. But it's such a big old house the list is endless. Just want to try and help make it a bit more comfortable and easy to live in for mum and dad as they are adamant they want to stay here. And there is stuff that gets to me when I come and stay here too so it makes life easier for me too!!

Eva made us laugh at lunch. Out of the blue she said she was on a secret mission. Something to do with bananas.
