A little box of love

Cliff, Dee and I travelled all the way to Somerset today to visit the Secret World Wildlife Rescue Centre as they have a hedgehog open day.

The SWWRS take in a huge number of injured and orphaned wild animals every year and we were happy to bring along some kitten food for the hedgehogs and generally dip into our pockets.

Hedgehog decline is a big issue and we were encouraged to help out any little hog seen in the open in the day as they are nocturnal animals and will be in destress.

I was enticed here by the promise of harvest mice and was not disappointed.
