Greater Spotted Woodpecker

Woke up to a cold but bright morning, had breakfast and went out for a walk just after 9.  Took lots of photos but the woodpecker just flew to this branch, landed and went off again, so I was really pleased to have captured it.  Met a friend who was going to the boatyard to his boat so went with him. The extra of the dog was taken at the boatyard, really lovely dog who was enjoying the sunshine.  Called into the shop for a paper and arrived home at 12, happy:)
