Littlehampton
I took Mrs Catspaw this afternoon to see Littlehampton, which I visited several times as a child back in the 1960s, and which I revisited back in September of this year.
Today's 'Main' photo features the water tower and the pier, beside the estuary of the River Arun: the water tower looked very 'modern' to me back in the 1960s, and the whole scene still has a 'cool', somewhat 'minimalist', 'modern' feel to it today.
Today's 'Extra' shows a row of beach huts: a timeless feature of the British Seaside, albeit somewhat 'out of season' on even the sunniest of autumn days such as today.
