The bandstand Littlehampton

Such a lovely day today we took a break from decorating and paid a visit to Littlehampton or, L.A., as I like to call it.

This bandstand was built at much cost but is not big enough to hold a band!  It has nice lines though, it reminds me a little of the Sydney Opera House but only a little.

Littlehampton is also the proud owner of the longest bench in Britain, or maybe anywhere at all!  My extra is of the the wiggly end to the bench which I think is a cheat to getting it to be the longest, but it does add a bit of interest.
