Paxos

Expecting a small passenger ferry, we were somewhat surprised to find ourselves on a huge car ferry. The outlook was Hebridean gloom. The port is a kilometre outside the town and this was the view of Gaios as we walked in. 
Although a small place, finding our accommodation was, for the first time on our Greek travels, a nightmare with eventually Monsieur coming down on his moped to find us. For our 23 euros a night, it was fine!
A really pretty little town and the first doner kebab of the trip in the central square was appreciated. Dinner not so impressive - overpriced  dull.
