Sun going down
We've come caravanning to Carters Beach on the West Coast of New Zealand for a couple of nights. It's been a lovely sunny day. After a late lazy start this morning we headed to Tauranga Bay and had a leisurely lunch at The Bayhouse Cafe. It was lovely sitting there in the sun, looking out to the Tasman Sea, and watching the world go by.
After lunch we went for a walk along the beach. I took lots of photos of the sea - something I enjoy doing but living where we do, makes it impossible unless we travel an hour and a half to the nearest beach.
So when the sun was starting to go down tonight, we returned to the beach where I took lots more of photos of the sun setting. Unfortunately there was a bit of cloud, but that added a wee bit extra to the photo.
This is the last trip in the van until near Christmas as we start getting the cows in calf again very soon, and Farmerboy has to milk every morning so he can cut the bulling cows out of the herd for the AI technician to inseminate. It's an important time of the year - if we don't get the cows in calf again, then we won't have any cows to milk next season - and the major consequence of that happening is we won't have any income. Not what we want!
