Sitting on the mud
A quiet and restful day. Late this afternoon I went to Cox's Bay, where the low tide meant that the mudflats were exposed and the moored yachts were resting on the bottoms. A cricket game was being played on the park across the road from the bay. A field which had been created from land originally reclaimed from swamp for a sawmill, and then drained and the stones removed to create a large parkland, now used for sport and play.
