Heroes of the day

Messrs Chad and Lloyd came by today to clean our hvac (heating/ventilation/air conditioning) ducts. I welcomed their brand of magic with excitement and awe. Since we moved to Starkville, I have been suffering with environmental allergies. As the ducts in our house had been installed in 1960's, there was a fair amount of crud in them. The gents first agitated the crud with a long snake-like hose, twirling with pressured air, and then sucked it out with their super duper hi-pressure vacuum cleaner. Looking forward to much cleaner indoor air, though I have no idea how i will know the difference.

I am proud of myself for managing to capture their different personalities. Chad is soft-spoken and reserved, while Lloyd is loud, cheerful, and filled with joy of living.

Things to be grateful for today:

- Clean ducts.
- Great swim lesson with Russell.
- Home-made and healthy breakfast and lunch.
