A red-tailed hawk was enjoying lunch by the side of the road at Whalon Lake Forest Preserve in Will County, Illinois. There were three in the mobile studio/car, with two of us taking photos. When another car whizzed within a meter of the hawk and it didn't flinch, I moved the mobile studio closer!
