Chugging Along.

The ducks and swans don't get much peace on this narrow part of the river Cam, but they always manage to scatter out of the way the minute a boat comes along. This barge looks as if it needs a coat of paint. Tonight the 'Doomsday' comet is set to shower Earth, peaking before dawn, with up to 20 shooting stars per hour. It is quite cloudy at the moment but I will leave the bedroom curtains open tonight in the hope of seeing this dazzling display.
