Magnolia - Flower Friday

Late this afternoon I remembered the Magnolia flowers in Bicton Park. Last time I visited some had either flowered and lost their petals or were in bud, so I popped back to have a look.  This is a close up of the Magnolia grandiflora , Bull Bay.

It has been a busy day and beautifully sunny, I had a flu jab and then drove into Exeter stopping off at Woodbury Common as I could see it was still misty, see extra.  

It was good to be out as the local farmer has been muck spreading on the field at the end of our garden.  Just as well it doesn't happen that regularly.
