Gold

On a Sunday trip out to the Yorkshire Dales we passed through the very tiny village of Hebden and stumbled upon a Gold post box.

I just had to join the queue to take a photo of it - the olympic rower Andy Triggs Hodge is the reason for it.

For those of you who are not from the UK, a promise was made that any athlete winning Gold in the London 2012 Olympic games would have the normally red post box in the place of their birth painted gold

We have quite a few in Yorkshire.
