Demolition

The wooden walls have gone up around the old shopping centre in the village next to us.  It has been a long time coming with various plans coming and going as the years went by.
 
A new row of shops have been built along the road from the old centre, most of which are now occupied.  The plan is to flatten the old building and create a number of new shops with a more traditional street front design.
